Our Hazelnut Dal consists of washed Arabica and a portion of washed Robusta from India.

We kept getting requests for a really strong coffee. Since we usually roast our coffees light to medium and our selection mainly consists of fruity green coffees, we wanted to break away from that with this blend.

The goal was to develop an espresso that has a strong body, can produce a rich crema, and works particularly well in combination with a portafilter machine and fully automatic machines.

He has been part of our coffee family since 2024.

It has a strong, full body with notes of hazelnut and dark chocolate.

    Fermented washed

The plantations have existed since the late 1800s. They were founded by third-generation plantation owners to offer discerning consumers coffee and spices of outstanding quality.

Both Arabica and Robusta coffee are grown, which is processed in three forms: washed, natural and honey.

The coffee plants are grown on slopes with two-tiered shade created by native rainforest trees and Erythrina lithosperma trees. These canopies not only provide habitat for over 200 species of animals, birds, insects, and reptiles, but also create a unique microclimate.

The soil is rich in humus and organic matter with abundant natural minerals, supporting some of the most diverse and rarest soil microbes and fungi. HOYSALA FARM consciously relies on proven practices that utilize both organic and inorganic inputs, always mindful of the impact on the local ecology and the long-term sustainability of the plantation.
