We want to interpret coffee differently than you might expect. Ultimately, we strive to deliver the highest achievable quality in all aspects of our business, whether it's sourcing the finest and most wondrous coffees available or employing the most mindful and quality-oriented practices possible.

Achieving a perfect roast is an intuition, a smell, a sound, a slight change in color – it's about the attention to detail that is expressed in every cup.

Mission is derived from the Latin missio (sending) and refers to the spread of the Christian faith.

We want to inspire people to love good coffee, or rather, specialty coffee.

We see roasting as part of a larger collaboration between our coffee farmers, sourcing partners, and ultimately baristas and coffee enthusiasts.

Our goal as a coffee roastery is to understand the intentions of the people who contributed to the production of our coffees and to express these intentions through our work. Coffee is a fruit. And that should be reflected in the taste of every cup.

Roasting is the crucial step from raw green coffee beans to finished brew. For us, it's also the most exciting. We roast our coffees to a range of strengths, from light filter coffees to medium-dark espressos. Our aim is to produce coffees that are both light and medium in strength.

We don't do one-size-fits-all. All our coffees are roasted slowly and gently and receive individual attention from us. They are roasted on a Giesen drum roaster.
